The house itself has always been and remained modest. Even the renovations (2001 and 2007) wanted it to remain such.

Earthly, grey stony ground floor with the kitchen/dinning room and vestibule/billiards room remind us that by entering the house we have moved away from something whereas the warm, colourful, light first floor seduces us with its comfort and move us nearer to something else.

The house dreams its own dreams and leaves you to dream different ones. Not necessarily those dreamt by the trees whose tops seem to be growing in the midst of the residence.

Peace, the company of trees, the brook with trout and crayfish, plenty of possibilities for long walks, mountain biking, hang-gliding or skydiving, half an hour away from the entire civilisation on offer in Slovenia are very different from the city life. Let me just mention two climbing centres Osp and Vipavska Bela, numerous opportunities for discovering the underworld, a few smaller club aerodromes, ….. Are they of any help? The house also offers the internet, electricity, water supply, the road which is never closed, floor heating, …

The lack of neighbours and the distance to the first inhabited house is such that there are no visible or audible contacts with others - if so preferred. For some, it is a pure heaven on earth for a magical way of life.
